Which companies in Texas sponsor visas for account operations managers?
Large employers with established immigration programs are the most consistent sponsors for account operations manager roles in Texas. Companies such as Dell Technologies, AT&T, Oracle, and major energy firms including Schlumberger and Halliburton have documented H-1B visa sponsorship histories in operational and account management functions. Larger employers tend to have in-house immigration counsel, which makes the sponsorship process more structured for candidates.
Which visa types are most common for account operations manager roles in Texas?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for account operations managers in Texas, provided the role is structured as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, operations management, or a related discipline. L-1B and L-1A visas also appear for candidates transferring within multinational companies. TN visas are an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying business management classifications.
Which Texas cities have the most account operations manager sponsorship jobs?
Dallas and Houston account for the largest share of account operations manager sponsorship activity in Texas. Dallas draws from technology, telecommunications, and financial services sectors, with a dense concentration of corporate headquarters. Houston's energy industry and its growing healthcare and logistics sectors also generate demand. Austin is a growing market, particularly among technology companies and SaaS firms that have expanded their Texas footprint significantly over the past several years.
How to find account operations manager visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for visa sponsorship, making it more targeted than general job searches for account operations manager roles in Texas. You can search by state and role to see active openings from employers who have indicated sponsorship availability. Focusing on companies with verified H-1B filing histories in Texas, particularly in Dallas, Houston, and Austin, increases the likelihood of finding employers already familiar with the sponsorship process for this function.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for account operations manager visa sponsorship?
Texas does not impose a state income tax, which affects how employers structure total compensation packages and may influence prevailing wage calculations under H-1B requirements. The state's concentration of energy, technology, and logistics industries means account operations manager roles often carry sector-specific experience requirements. Texas also hosts several universities with strong business programs, including UT Austin and Texas A&M, which create OPT pipelines into account operations roles at Texas-based employers.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored account operations manager jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
