INTRODUCTION
Built on service. Powered by people. Impact exists because a small group of industry leaders believed companies in our space were doing it wrong. Many prioritized margins while the people doing the work and the clients relying on it became an afterthought. Impact was built differently: invest in great people, trust them to do great work, and deliver the kind of service clients remember. That approach helped us grow from a small office technology company into a national managed services provider, while remaining privately owned and people-first. What makes Impact special is that growth has never come at the expense of the values that got us here. We continue to reinvest in our people, our capabilities, and the opportunities ahead so employees can grow alongside the business. We’ve built something special, but we’re far from finished. The people who join Impact now will help define what comes next.

Which companies in Texas sponsor visas for cloud solutions engineers?
Several large Texas-based employers have consistent H-1B sponsorship histories for cloud solutions engineers, including Dell Technologies, AT&T, Texas Instruments, and Oracle. Hyperscaler offices in the state, such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure teams in Dallas and Austin, also sponsor regularly. Enterprise consulting firms with major Texas presences, including Accenture and Infosys, appear frequently in Department of Labor disclosure data for this role type.
Which visa types are most common for cloud solutions engineer roles in Texas?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for cloud solutions engineers in Texas, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. TN visas are an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals under USMCA. Employers in Texas also occasionally sponsor L-1B intracompany transfers for engineers moving from international offices.
Which cities in Texas have the most cloud solutions engineer sponsorship jobs?
Austin leads in volume due to its dense technology sector, with a high concentration of cloud-focused employers ranging from early-stage startups to major enterprise firms. Dallas-Fort Worth follows closely, driven by large financial services, telecommunications, and consulting employers. Houston rounds out the top three, with cloud engineering demand anchored in energy technology, healthcare IT, and logistics companies that have invested heavily in cloud infrastructure modernization.
How to find cloud solutions engineer visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for visa sponsorship eligibility, making it straightforward to search cloud solutions engineer roles in Texas without sifting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. You can filter by location to focus on Austin, Dallas, or Houston. Migrate Mate aggregates roles from employers with documented sponsorship histories, which is particularly useful for cloud solutions engineers who need a company experienced with H-1B petitions.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for cloud solutions engineers seeking visa sponsorship?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects how prevailing wage calculations compare to offers in higher-tax states, though employers must still meet Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements for the specific metro area. Texas universities including UT Austin, Texas A&M, and Rice produce a steady pipeline of engineering graduates, meaning some employers are familiar with OPT-to-H-1B transitions. The state's energy sector creates cloud engineering demand in domains less common elsewhere, such as upstream oil and gas data platforms.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored cloud solutions engineer jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
