Which companies sponsor visas for corporate recruiters in Texas?
Large multinationals with significant Texas operations are the most consistent sponsors for corporate recruiter roles. These include ExxonMobil and Chevron in Houston, AT&T and American Airlines in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Dell Technologies and Apple in Austin, and Texas Instruments across multiple campuses. Enterprise technology firms and healthcare systems like HCA Healthcare also appear regularly in sponsorship filings for talent acquisition positions.
Which visa types are most common for corporate recruiter roles in Texas?
The H-1B is the most common visa for corporate recruiters in Texas, as the role generally qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field. The L-1B and L-1A are also relevant for international transfers within multinational companies. Candidates from Australia may pursue the E-3, and Canadian or Mexican nationals can explore the TN visa under the human resources manager category.
Which cities in Texas have the most corporate recruiter sponsorship jobs?
Dallas-Fort Worth leads the state for corporate recruiter sponsorship volume, anchored by its dense concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and large financial services employers. Houston is a strong second, particularly within energy, healthcare, and engineering firms. Austin has grown substantially as a hub for technology companies, many of which maintain active talent acquisition teams. San Antonio and Houston's medical center also generate demand within healthcare recruiting.
How to find corporate recruiter visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters corporate recruiter roles in Texas by visa sponsorship availability, so you're not sifting through postings that won't support your visa. The platform surfaces positions from employers with verified sponsorship history, which matters in recruiting roles where sponsorship willingness isn't always stated upfront. Searching by city within Texas lets you target Dallas, Houston, or Austin based on where your target employers are concentrated.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for corporate recruiters seeking visa sponsorship?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage benchmarking since compensation structures differ from states like California or New York. For H-1B purposes, the employer must still meet the Department of Labor's prevailing wage for the specific metropolitan statistical area, so a Houston-based recruiter role will have a different wage floor than one in Austin or Dallas. Texas also has a strong pipeline of HR talent from universities like UT Austin and Texas A&M, meaning competition for sponsored roles can be meaningful.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored corporate recruiter jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
