ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under general supervision, develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales of products and services in a remote capacity.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Qualifies, pursues, and closes opportunities for Commercial customers from Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) identified by lead generation.
- Develops a strategy for generating revenue based on the assigned account list.
- Selects the correct products or assists customers in making product selections based on customers' needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations.
- Works on revitalizing dormant relationships with significant upside potential.
- Monitors customer market spend and relationship with Lennox, identifying high-potential accounts for promotion to the District segment.
- Coordinates with the Territory Manager to ensure smooth handoff of customers moving from Inside to Field coverage.
- Negotiates prices and terms of sales and service agreements.
- Ensures high post-sales satisfaction, facilitating positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires at least 1 year of related experience.
Requires strong abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating, and managing time.
- Requires knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
- This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
- Knows principles and processes for providing customer service.
- This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Effective in written and verbal communication.
- Requires intermediate industry and product knowledge.
- Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.
