Job Duty: Bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Resource Therapy Center, LLC – Southwest Houston, Texas
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to pediatric patients under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), following individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver therapy in both English and Spanish to effectively serve a diverse pediatric population and support family communication.
- Implement therapeutic activities to address speech sound disorders, language delays, social communication skills, and other developmental needs as outlined by the supervising SLP.
- Collect and record accurate data on patient performance and progress during each session in accordance with clinic and state guidelines.
- Assist in the development and preparation of therapy materials and activities appropriate for children of varying ages and abilities.
- Educate and guide parents/caregivers in both English and Spanish on carryover strategies and home practice techniques.
- Maintain a safe, engaging, and supportive clinical environment for pediatric therapy sessions.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of all patient records.
- Collaborate with the supervising SLP and interdisciplinary team to support patient progress and treatment outcomes.
W2 $50-$57/Hr. (With $200 Quarterly sign-on Bonus for one year employment) $200/Month Stipend for Insurance
