Maintain Poly/Polycom conference room systems supporting both Microsoft Teams and Zoom meetings, ensuring reliable platform switching and meeting readiness.
-
Provide white-glove support to executive leadership and ensure laptops, conference rooms, and network infrastructure are fully configured and tested ahead of quarterly Board and Town Hall meetings.

Which companies sponsor visas for IT engineers in Utah?
Adobe, Qualtrics, Pluralsight, and Domo are among the established tech employers in Utah with documented H-1B sponsorship histories for IT engineering roles. Large enterprises in financial services and healthcare IT, including companies headquartered in Salt Lake City, also sponsor regularly. Startups concentrated in the Silicon Slopes area have increasingly sponsored as they scale, though sponsorship frequency varies by company size and hiring stage.
Which visa types are most common for IT engineer roles in Utah?
The H-1B is the most common visa for IT engineers in Utah, covering roles like systems engineer, cloud infrastructure engineer, and DevOps engineer that require a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. L-1B visas appear for intracompany transfers at multinationals with Utah offices. Some roles at research-adjacent employers may qualify for O-1A consideration, though that category requires demonstrated exceptional achievement.
How to find it engineer visa sponsorship jobs in Utah?
Migrate Mate filters IT engineer jobs in Utah specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you're not sorting through postings that won't support international candidates. The platform surfaces roles from companies with active H-1B filings in the state, including employers across Salt Lake City, Provo, and Lehi. Searching by role and state on Migrate Mate is the most direct way to identify which Utah employers are actively sponsoring IT engineers right now.
Which cities in Utah have the most IT engineer sponsorship jobs?
Salt Lake City accounts for the largest share of IT engineer sponsorship activity in Utah, with a concentration of enterprise tech, fintech, and healthtech employers. Lehi and Provo form the core of Silicon Slopes, where startups and mid-size SaaS companies have clustered. Provo also benefits from proximity to Brigham Young University, which contributes a steady pipeline of technical graduates and draws employers looking to hire in the area.
Are there any state-specific considerations for IT engineers pursuing visa sponsorship in Utah?
Utah's prevailing wage requirements for H-1B IT engineering roles are set at the county level using Department of Labor data, so wages for a systems engineer in Salt Lake County differ from those in Utah County. The Silicon Slopes ecosystem has attracted significant venture investment, which has expanded the number of mid-stage startups willing to sponsor, though smaller startups may face more complexity navigating the H-1B process for the first time. Utah's relatively low cost of operations compared to coastal tech hubs has also made it attractive for companies establishing engineering offices.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored it engineer jobs in Utah?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
