Which companies sponsor visas for product development managers in Utah?
Several Utah-based technology companies have a documented history of sponsoring work visas for product roles. Adobe's Lehi campus, Qualtrics, Domo, and Ancestry are among the larger employers with established sponsorship infrastructure. Enterprise software firms in the Silicon Slopes corridor and healthcare technology companies such as Health Catalyst and Collective Medical also appear regularly in Department of Labor LCA filings for product management and product development positions.
Which visa types are most common for product development manager roles in Utah?
The H-1B visa is the most common pathway for product development managers in Utah, as the role typically requires at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, computer science, or business. Some candidates qualify under the L-1A or L-1B categories when transferring within a multinational company. Australian citizens may also be eligible for the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and is frequently used for specialty occupation roles at Utah tech employers.
How to find product development manager visa sponsorship jobs in Utah?
Migrate Mate is designed specifically for international candidates seeking sponsored roles and lets you filter product development manager jobs by state, including Utah. Rather than sorting through generic job boards where sponsorship status is unclear, Migrate Mate surfaces employers with active sponsorship histories for product leadership roles in Utah's tech sector, saving significant research time for candidates navigating the H-1B visa or other work visa processes.
Which cities in Utah have the most product development manager sponsorship jobs?
Salt Lake City and the adjacent Silicon Slopes cities, particularly Lehi, Draper, and Provo, account for the large majority of product development manager sponsorship opportunities in Utah. Lehi alone hosts major campuses for Adobe, Qualtrics, and other enterprise software companies. Provo benefits from its proximity to Brigham Young University, which feeds a steady pipeline of technical graduates and attracts employers who hire internationally for senior product roles.
Are there any Utah-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for product development managers?
Utah's concentration of high-growth software companies in Silicon Slopes means product development manager roles here are predominantly in the technology sector, which aligns well with H-1B specialty occupation requirements. Employers are required to pay the prevailing wage for the Salt Lake City or Provo-Orem metropolitan areas, as determined by Department of Labor guidelines. The University of Utah's engineering and business programs also supply a local talent pipeline that shapes how Utah employers structure their international hiring.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product development manager jobs in Utah?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
