Which companies sponsor visas for service supervisors in Washington?
Washington employers that have historically sponsored service supervisors include large healthcare systems such as Providence Health and Swedish Medical Group, hospitality operators in the greater Seattle area, and facilities management contractors supporting tech campuses in Bellevue and Redmond. Retail and logistics companies headquartered in Washington also file sponsorships for supervisory roles, particularly when the position requires a degree-backed specialty occupation classification.
Which visa types are most common for service supervisor roles in Washington?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for service supervisors when the role qualifies as a specialty occupation, typically requiring a bachelor's degree in a related field such as hospitality management, healthcare administration, or operations. Some supervisory roles in healthcare or education settings may also be sponsored through the TN visa for Canadian and Mexican nationals, or through EB-3 immigrant petitions for longer-term permanent residence pathways.
Which cities in Washington have the most service supervisor sponsorship jobs?
Seattle generates the largest share of service supervisor sponsorship activity in Washington, driven by its concentration of hospitals, hotels, and corporate campuses. Bellevue and Redmond follow closely due to the presence of major tech employers whose facilities require supervisory staff. Tacoma and Spokane also see sponsorship activity in healthcare and social services, making them worth considering for candidates open to positions outside the Seattle metro area.

Are there state-specific considerations for service supervisors seeking sponsorship in Washington?
Washington's prevailing wage requirements, set at both federal and state levels, can affect how employers structure sponsored service supervisor positions. The state has strong labor regulations that employers must satisfy when filing a Labor Condition Application. Washington's large healthcare and hospitality industries also mean that sponsoring employers tend to have established HR infrastructure for work visa petitions, which can make the process more straightforward compared to smaller or less experienced sponsors.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored service supervisor jobs in Washington?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
