Greenway Engineering, Inc. is currently seeking a motivated Project Engineer, EIT (Engineer in Training) with Land Development Experience to join our Martinsburg, WV office.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Applicants must possess:
- EIT (or PE) license
- Land Development Experience (minimum 2-5+ years)
- Ability to assist Project Managers and Senior Engineers in the planning and design of hydraulic and storm water collection systems
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Word and MS Excel
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in design and development of land development projects
- Flexibility in managing job tasks as deadlines and priorities change
- Desire to work in a team environment
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, clients, and public agencies
Under the guidance of a licensed engineer (P.E.), this position will work with a project team to design a variety of projects, including industrial, commercial, and residential sites throughout Northern VA and Eastern, WV. Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
- Design and develop civil engineering projects using AutoCAD and Carlson and Civil 3D software.
- Prepare and review project schematics, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
- Conduct project scheduling and manage timelines effectively.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
- Utilize GIS and construction estimating tools for accurate project planning.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns.
- Assist in technical writing and documentation for project proposals and reports.
Job Shift
Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM with occasional overtime
Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate(s) will be subject to a background screening. The screenings will be conducted in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local law.

- Pay: $60,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
