ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
How you'll make an impact in this role:
- Deliver essential, high-quality direct patient care, assisting with personal needs and activities of daily living to promote patient comfort, dignity, and independence.
- Document the patient care journey, accurately recording vital signs, input/output, and interventions to maintain high-quality, legally compliant records that support the multidisciplinary team.
- Communicate critical changes in a patient’s physical or emotional status to the nursing staff immediately to ensure timely, informed clinical intervention and patient safety.
- Support patient safety and mobility by skillfully assisting with patient movement, placement, and transport for various exams and treatments.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly patient environment, ensuring supplies are stocked and all essential medical equipment is in immediate readiness for use.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Must be accepted or enrolled into a Nursing program upon date of hire/transfer and begin classes within 90 days of date of hire/transfer required.
