Which companies sponsor visas for sales advisors in Wisconsin?
Northwestern Mutual, Fiserv, and Rockwell Automation are among the Wisconsin-based employers with records of sponsoring international workers in sales and client-facing roles. Healthcare systems like UW Health and Froedtert also hire into consultative sales positions. Larger manufacturers in the Fox Valley corridor, including Kimberly-Clark and Appleton's industrial firms, have similarly filed sponsorship petitions for commercial roles.
Which visa types are most common for sales advisor roles in Wisconsin?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for sales advisor roles where the position requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field, such as business, marketing, or finance. Candidates with relevant degrees from accredited U.S. universities on OPT can work immediately while an employer pursues H-1B sponsorship. The TN visa is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying business occupations.
Which cities in Wisconsin have the most sales advisor sponsorship jobs?
Milwaukee is the primary concentration point, anchored by financial services companies, insurance firms, and manufacturing headquarters. Madison follows closely, driven by technology startups, healthcare organizations, and state government contractors. Green Bay and Appleton in the Fox Valley offer opportunities through regional manufacturing, insurance, and healthcare employers that regularly hire into client-facing sales roles.
How to find sales advisor visa sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for roles where employers have demonstrated sponsorship willingness, including sales advisor positions across Wisconsin. You can narrow results by city, filtering for Milwaukee, Madison, or Green Bay depending on where you want to work. Migrate Mate focuses on international job seekers, so listings are curated for candidates who need H-1B or other work visa support rather than open to all applicants.
What should international candidates know about sales advisor hiring in Wisconsin?
Wisconsin employers sponsoring sales advisors typically require that the role qualifies as a specialty occupation, meaning a specific bachelor's degree field must be a standard requirement for the position. Roles framed broadly as general sales may face scrutiny during the H-1B petition process. Candidates with degrees in finance, business administration, or a technical field aligned with the employer's industry tend to have stronger sponsorship cases.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored sales advisor jobs in Wisconsin?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
