Which companies sponsor visas for service supervisors in Wisconsin?
Manufacturing and industrial companies are the most active sponsors for service supervisor roles in Wisconsin. Employers like Kohler Co. in Kohler, Oshkosh Corporation in Oshkosh, and SC Johnson in Racine have histories of sponsoring skilled operations and supervisory positions. Large healthcare networks such as Advocate Aurora Health and UW Health in Madison also hire service supervisors and have sponsored work visas for qualified candidates.
Which visa types are most common for service supervisor roles in Wisconsin?
The H-1B is the most common visa for service supervisor roles when the position requires a relevant bachelor's degree, such as operations management, industrial engineering, or business administration. The TN visa is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management or engineering-adjacent roles. The L-1A is relevant for intracompany transferees moving into supervisory positions within multinational manufacturers operating in Wisconsin.
Which cities in Wisconsin have the most service supervisor sponsorship jobs?
Milwaukee is the largest hub, driven by its manufacturing base and healthcare sector. Madison follows closely, supported by university-affiliated employers and state government contractors. Green Bay and Oshkosh are strong in industrial and logistics supervision, while Racine and Kenosha benefit from their concentration of consumer goods and manufacturing employers. Smaller cities like Appleton and Wausau also have active industrial operations with occasional supervisory openings.
How to find service supervisor visa sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically to service supervisor roles with verified visa sponsorship in Wisconsin, saving you from manually screening hundreds of postings. You can search by city, industry, and visa type to focus on employers actively hiring internationally. Given that sponsorship for supervisory roles in Wisconsin is concentrated in manufacturing and healthcare, narrowing your search on Migrate Mate by those sectors is a practical starting point.
Are there state-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for service supervisors in Wisconsin?
Wisconsin's prevailing wage requirements under the H-1B program are benchmarked to DOL wage data for each metropolitan area, so compensation expectations vary between Milwaukee and smaller markets like Green Bay or Wausau. Wisconsin's strong manufacturing and industrial sector means many service supervisor roles are tied to union-adjacent environments, which can influence how employers structure sponsored positions. University of Wisconsin graduates also create a local pipeline that some employers prioritize before pursuing international sponsorship.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored service supervisor jobs in Wisconsin?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
