Which companies sponsor visas for warehouse jobs in Wisconsin?
Amazon operates multiple fulfillment centers in Wisconsin, including facilities near Kenosha and Oak Creek, and has a documented history of H-2B and employment-based sponsorship for warehouse roles. Uline, headquartered in Pleasant Prairie, and Kohl's distribution network are also notable employers. Third-party logistics providers such as Ryder and XPO Logistics operate Wisconsin warehouses and occasionally sponsor qualified workers for specialized distribution roles.
What visa types are most common for warehouse roles in Wisconsin?
The H-2B visa is the most frequently used category for seasonal or temporary warehouse and distribution work in Wisconsin, particularly during peak fulfillment seasons. Permanent warehouse operations roles may qualify under EB-3 for skilled or unskilled workers, depending on job duties and employer sponsorship willingness. H-1B sponsorship is uncommon for frontline warehouse positions but may apply to logistics management or supply chain analyst roles within a warehouse operation.
Which cities in Wisconsin have the most warehouse visa sponsorship jobs?
Kenosha and Oak Creek, in the Milwaukee metro area along the I-94 corridor, have the highest concentration of large warehouse and fulfillment operations in Wisconsin. The Fox Valley region, including Appleton and Oshkosh, supports significant manufacturing-adjacent warehousing. Madison and Green Bay also have growing distribution activity tied to retail and food supply chains, making these cities the strongest targets for warehouse sponsorship job searches in the state.
How to find warehouse visa sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find warehouse visa sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin, with listings filtered specifically for employers willing to sponsor work visas. You can search by role and state to surface opportunities in Milwaukee, Kenosha, and the Fox Valley. Because warehouse sponsorship jobs are not always advertised as sponsor-friendly on general boards, Migrate Mate's focused filtering saves significant time for international job seekers.
Are there any Wisconsin-specific considerations for warehouse workers seeking visa sponsorship?
Wisconsin participates in E-Verify, and many large warehouse employers in the state require it as part of onboarding, which is relevant for workers on employment authorization documents. The state's distribution industry is heavily tied to Midwest retail and manufacturing supply chains, meaning hiring cycles often align with Q4 peak seasons. Workers pursuing H-2B sponsorship should note that employer petitions must be filed well in advance of the start date, and Wisconsin employers typically initiate the process months ahead.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored warehouse jobs in Wisconsin?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
