The role spans semantic model design, report development, governance, performance optimization, and deployment lifecycle management, with strict adherence to client, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and agency data-governance policies. The duties and responsibilities of this position are as follows:
Report, Dashboard, and Semantic Model Development
- Design star schema tabular models that consume Silver and Gold datasets, defining clear facts, dimensions, hierarchies, and relationships that reflect business rules and formal audit needs.
- Develop performant Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) measures, calculation logic, key performance indicators (KPIs), and reusable measure templates to ensure consistent reporting standards across the enterprise.
