- Apply laws, rules, regulations, departmental policies and procedures regarding assembly and common practice procedures.
- Monitor production control email for requests.
- Create work orders for requests.
- Enter purchase orders accurately and timely.
- File old purchase orders daily.
- Troubleshoot supply chain and scheduling problems and see they are resolved quickly.
- Recognize opportunities for improvement and implement corrective action proactively.
- Organize and complete daily task requirements.
- Occasionally meet with internal team members, suppliers and or customers.
- Work with sales and production to meet customer expectations.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Good decision making and problem solving.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic mathematics.
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrate initiative and follow through.
- Maintain professionalism in a fast-paced work environment.
Work Environment:
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Ability to climb and stoop.
- Ability to sit or stand for the majority of work schedule.
- Requires periodic visits to manufacturing facility with exposure to seasonal hot/cold temperatures, dust, loud noise, and chemical fumes.
