VP Of Operations Jobs in Dallas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a vp of operations job in Dallas?
Target Dallas's strongest hiring sectors first: logistics and supply chain, healthcare systems, and financial services each run large operations functions that need senior leadership. The Stemmons Corridor, Las Colinas, and Uptown concentrate corporate headquarters where most of these roles sit. Candidates who can show measurable P&L ownership, multi-site team leadership, and experience with Texas-scale distribution or healthcare operations stand out in this market.
Which companies hire vp of operationss in Dallas?
Employers hiring vp of operationss in Dallas right now include Aramark, Associa, and Gentiva, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Dallas attracts a mix of Fortune 500 headquarters, regional healthcare systems, and fast-growing logistics firms, all of which maintain substantial operations leadership teams.
Are there remote vp of operations jobs in Dallas?
Yes, though selectively, since vp of operations roles often require on-site presence for facilities oversight, team management, and vendor coordination. About 50% of vp of operations openings tied to Dallas are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, with the remote options concentrated in companies where operations oversight is primarily strategic rather than facilities-based. Technology-enabled services and SaaS companies in Dallas are the most likely to offer that flexibility.
How can I get a vp of operations job in Dallas with little or no experience?
The most realistic path is moving up through a director of operations or senior operations manager role at one of Dallas's many mid-market logistics, healthcare, or retail companies, where internal promotions to VP are common. Regional distribution hubs along the Stemmons Corridor and healthcare networks like those in the Medical District frequently grow their own operations leaders. Building a record of cost reduction, headcount management, and cross-functional project delivery in Dallas's dominant industries accelerates that trajectory.
