How do I move up to a mid level vp product role?
The path from early-career to mid level vp product runs through demonstrable ownership. Build your way into leading a full product area rather than individual features, accumulate experience shipping with measurable impact, and develop a point of view on strategy and trade-offs. Consistent delivery, cross-functional credibility, and the ability to mentor peers are what distinguish mid level candidates from early-career ones.
