ABOUT THE ROLE

Johnson Brothers is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Lead to support our warehouse operations. In this hands-on leadership role, you will help train new team members, support daily workflow, and ensure accuracy, safety, and productivity across the shift. This is a labor-intensive role responsible for moving stock repeatedly throughout the shift both manually and with equipment. Schedule is Sunday through Thursday 5:30 pm to completion or as business needs dictate.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Assist warehouse management in directing daily activities including loading, unloading, and order selections.
• Train and onboard new hires on picking, palletizing, baler operation, jackpot operation, and general warehouse procedures.
• Reinforce SOPs, work rules, and safety guidelines for all employees.
• Support, influence, and motivate team members to meet productivity, accuracy, and safety goals.
• Serve as a liaison between employees and management to support communication and workflow.
• Use the warehouse management system to locate products, process orders, and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers, balers, and other warehouse equipment.
• Load branch pallet orders and support general loading/unloading tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment with proper housekeeping practices.
• Ensure a safe work environment by following and enforcing all safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 1–3 years of warehouse experience; prior lead or trainer experience a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to lead through teamwork and influence.
• Ability to safely lift 40–60 lbs. repeatedly and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to endure prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check.
