JOB SUMMARY:
Performs x-ray procedures under the order of Physician or Nurse Practitioner. Assist team on the floor as needed
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum two years experience
- Knowledge with EMR
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge to burn studies to new CD
RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
- Escort patients from waiting room to exam rooms
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality
- Maintains appropriate maintenance schedule per manufacturer’s directions for hardware and software
- Properly wears safety exposure badge
- Working knowledge of medical assistant position and covers prn.
- Collect and run specimens for flu, covid, strep and rsv
Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
