We are a busy Urgent Care Center seeking to fill a Full time position for an X-RAY TECH/ MA, in our center. We offer a family oriented work environment and many benefits that come with being a part of the team. Applicant must be efficient in handling computers/ EMR experience is a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish is a plus). Must have X-RAY TECH/MA LICENSE and current CPR (BLS). Our Urgent Care Center is open everyday of the year including holidays and weekends from 8:00am - 8:00pm, must be able to work 12 hour shifts to include alternate weekends and Holidays. New Graduates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and recording patient histories.
- Ensure that examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Manage patient flow to optimize efficiency in the center.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
- Perform lab testing, blood draws, injections, splinting, dispensing medicine, breathing treatments and help with maintaining all necessary lab protocols.
- Perform all X-Rays with in limited scope.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant with 1-2 years of back office.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to perform basic clinical tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is beneficial.
- Basic Life Support Certification
