Mid Level Account Representative Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level account representative job?
Position yourself around ownership and outcomes. Highlight accounts you managed independently, revenue you retained or grew, and any cross-functional work you led. Tailor your resume to show measurable results, such as renewal rates or upsell wins, rather than just listing tasks. Mid level job postings typically look for demonstrated client relationship depth and the ability to run a deal cycle without close supervision.
Which companies hire mid level account representatives?
Companies hiring mid level account representatives right now include Amazon, Thryv, and GEODIS, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Mid-size growth companies and enterprise firms with dedicated sales or client success divisions tend to hire most actively at this level, as they need reps who can manage accounts independently without constant management oversight.
Are there remote mid level account representative jobs?
Yes, remote and hybrid options are common at this level. About 36% of mid level account representative openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how many sales and account management workflows now run through digital tools. Fully remote roles are most common in SaaS, technology services, and companies with distributed client bases.
How do I move up to a mid level account representative role?
Moving from entry level to mid level means building a record of independent account ownership over time. Focus on expanding the complexity and size of accounts you handle, taking initiative on renewals and upsells without prompting, and mentoring newer reps when the opportunity arises. Demonstrating consistent quota attainment and the ability to manage the full account lifecycle is what typically signals readiness for mid level responsibilities.
