Account Representative Jobs in Omaha: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an account representative job in Omaha?
Focus your search on Omaha's insurance carriers, financial services firms, and telecommunications companies, which consistently post the most account representative openings in the city. West Omaha business parks and the Downtown core are where most of these employers cluster. A background in customer-facing sales or client services gives you a clear edge, and familiarity with CRM tools is a common requirement across Omaha hiring managers.
Which companies hire account representatives in Omaha?
Companies currently hiring account representatives in Omaha include State Farm, Malnove Packaging, and Stay Sharp Embroidery, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. Omaha's employer mix skews toward large regional insurers, national financial services firms, and telecom and logistics companies with significant local operations.
Are there remote account representative jobs in Omaha?
Yes, though availability depends on the employer, since many account representative roles in Omaha involve in-person client visits or on-site team collaboration. About 75% of account representative openings tied to Omaha are remote or hybrid as of November 2026, with the remote options most common in inside sales and account management roles at insurance and software companies.
How can I get an account representative job in Omaha with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Omaha is through inside sales or customer service roles at one of the city's large insurance carriers or financial services firms, many of which run structured training programs for new hires. Entry-level titles like sales development representative or customer account coordinator are common stepping stones. Highlighting any retail, hospitality, or phone-based customer service experience on your resume is a practical advantage with Omaha employers who hire volume.
