<p style="text-align:left">Amaze, Inspire, Unite</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p>JOB SUMMARY:<br />The accounting analyst position is responsible for providing general accounting support to the organization, including but not limited to preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, month-end closing activities, forecasting, budgeting, and performing cost and variance analysis. This position manages complex and confidential company financial records and operates with significant discretion and autonomy.</p><p><br />KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<br />• Reconcile costs incurred for publicly ticketed and private events. Compile, review, record, and prepare billing requests.<br />• Work with event accountants to provide timely and accurate event cost information.<br />• Work with operations, sales and marketing departments to invoice for their services provided.<br />• Analyze and reconcile various general ledger accounts monthly.<br />• Participate in the monthly close process, including preliminary review of financial statements, preparation and posting of journal entries, and explanation of budget to actual variances.<br />• Assist in preparation of monthly forecasts and annual budget for assigned department(s) through analysis of accounts and working in a collaborative manner with department leaders.<br />• Execute in accordance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and recommend new ideas or changes to current policies and procedures, as needed.<br />• Continuously evaluate business processes and implement changes that increase efficiencies.<br />• Perform other duties as assigned.</p><p><br />MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:<br />• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.<br />• Minimum of two years related experience.<br />• Possess the highest integrity and ethical standards.<br />• Effective and proactive communication, both orally and in writing.<br />• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.<br />• Self-starter with strong attention to detail.<br />• High level of resourcefulness, initiative, and good judgment. Setting priorities and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.<br />• Intermediate Excel skills.</p><p><br />PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:<br />• Working knowledge of accounting principles to ensure financial results are in conformity with Generally Acceptable Account Principles.<br />• Sports and Entertainment experience.<br />• Experience with Oracle.<br />• Experience with Workforce and/or Workday.</p><p></p><p>All items listed above are illustrative and not comprehensive.
