Duties
- Lead financial management, fiscal management, and finance team operations, including financial accounting, corporate accounting, and general ledger processes.
- Direct budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, financial projection model development, and financial model development; assess profit and loss, cash flow, investments, and financial markets.
- Oversee financial statement preparation, financial report writing and interpretation, account analysis, account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, accrual accounting, bookkeeping, cost accounting, cost management, revenue management, and treasury and investment management.
- Apply risk analysis, risk management, compliance management, and industry knowledge of financial regulations to financial operations and regulatory reporting.
Requirements
- Demonstrated accounting and finance experience, financial management, leadership, strategic management, and finance directorship capability.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), International Accounting Standards (IAS), Accounting Standards Codification Topic 606 (ASC 606), technical accounting, and public, nonprofit, or governmental accounting.
- Experience with corporate finance, business development, financial analysis, financial reporting, financial software and accounting systems; familiarity with data analytics tools and Excel data analysis.
- Strong financial acumen, financial concepts, technical proficiency, and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex findings clearly.
- Preferred: financial services experience and demonstrated expertise in cost control and financial operations.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
