Mid Level Accounts Receivable Assistant Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level accounts receivable assistant job?
Position yourself around ownership, not just task completion. Highlight experience managing full AR cycles, reducing days sales outstanding, or resolving high-value disputes independently. Tailor your resume to show measurable impact, such as improving collection rates or streamlining invoice workflows. Employers at this level want candidates who need direction on priorities, not on execution.
Which companies hire mid level accounts receivable assistants?
Companies hiring mid level accounts receivable assistants right now include Americold Logistics, Jobot, and eGain, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Mid-size and enterprise employers across healthcare, manufacturing, and business services tend to hire most actively at this level, where volume and complexity justify dedicated AR experience.
Are there remote mid level accounts receivable assistant jobs?
Yes, remote work is common at this level given the role's reliance on software rather than physical documents. About 63% of mid level accounts receivable assistant openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting broader adoption of cloud-based accounting platforms that make distributed AR work fully operational.
How do I move up to a mid level accounts receivable assistant role?
Growth from entry level comes from expanding ownership over time. Start by mastering your employer's AR software and processes, then take initiative on reconciliation projects, customer follow-up workflows, or reporting tasks. Demonstrating that you can manage a subset of the AR portfolio independently, with measurable results like improved aging balances, signals readiness for mid level responsibilities.
Which industries hire the most mid level accounts receivable assistants?
Mid Level accounts receivable assistant roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Logistics & Supply Chain, and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors tend to operate at high transaction volumes with complex billing arrangements, creating sustained demand for AR professionals who can manage accounts with limited supervision.
