Entry Level Acquisition Specialist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level acquisition specialist job?
Employers hiring at the entry level look for candidates who can demonstrate attention to detail, familiarity with procurement or sourcing processes, and strong organizational skills. A relevant internship, coursework in supply chain or business, or hands-on project work gives you a concrete edge. Tailoring your resume to show any purchasing, vendor research, or contract support experience, even from academic projects, strengthens your application significantly.
Which companies hire entry level acquisition specialists?
Companies hiring entry level acquisition specialists right now include State Farm, Brighter Strides ABA Therapy, and WeBox, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. At this level, government contractors, defense firms, and large public-sector organizations tend to post the most openings, as structured procurement teams create consistent entry points for junior candidates.
Are there remote entry level acquisition specialist jobs?
Yes, though on-site roles still dominate at the entry level. About 26% of entry level acquisition specialist openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, which gives candidates flexibility without ruling out in-office opportunities. Hybrid arrangements are especially common at larger organizations that want junior hires close to their procurement teams during onboarding.
Are these new grad acquisition specialist jobs?
Yes, the listings on this page include new grad, recent graduate, and junior acquisition specialist roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internship work or academic projects as qualifications, or explicitly invites applications from recent graduates. If you are a new grad with coursework in business, supply chain, or public administration, many of these roles are written for candidates at exactly your stage.
Which industries hire the most entry level acquisition specialists?
Entry Level acquisition specialist roles concentrate in Insurance, Healthcare & Medical Services, and Technology & Software, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors drive hiring at the entry level because they rely on structured procurement cycles, contract compliance requirements, and sourcing volume that consistently create openings for candidates who are newer to the field.
