AI Program Manager Jobs in Arizona: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a ai program manager in Arizona?
The path to becoming an ai program manager in Arizona typically starts with a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or engineering, followed by program management experience in a technical environment. Arizona does not require a state-issued license for this role, but earning the Project Management Professional certification from PMI significantly strengthens candidacy with major Arizona employers. Building hands-on experience with AI tools, data pipelines, or machine learning platforms is equally important.
Which companies hire ai program managers in Arizona?
Employers hiring ai program managers in Arizona right now include American Express, Bank of America, and DeVry University, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Arizona's concentration of defense contractors, major financial institutions, and expanding technology campuses makes it one of the more consistent states for sustained ai program manager hiring.
Which Arizona cities have the most ai program manager jobs?
Phoenix and Chandler account for the largest share of ai program manager openings in Arizona. Phoenix drives volume through its dense cluster of financial services firms, healthcare systems, and corporate technology hubs, while Scottsdale and Tempe contribute through established enterprise software companies and the research ecosystem connected to Arizona State University.
Are there remote ai program manager jobs in Arizona?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 100% of ai program manager openings tied to Arizona are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the largely desk-based and collaborative nature of the role. The portions of the work most commonly done remotely include stakeholder reporting, roadmap planning, and cross-team coordination, while on-site presence is more often required during product launches or executive reviews.
How can I get hired as a ai program manager in Arizona with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving laterally from a technical project coordinator or business analyst role within an Arizona technology or healthcare organization. Large Arizona employers like Intel and Banner Health run rotational and associate program management tracks that accept candidates with strong analytical backgrounds but limited formal AI experience. Earning a Google Project Management Certificate or completing an AI fundamentals course, then applying to junior program coordinator roles on technology or data teams, builds the credential base most hiring managers in Arizona require.
Where can I find and apply to ai program manager jobs in Arizona?
You can find and apply to ai program manager jobs in Arizona on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across the state. Search the roles available, identify the ones that match your background and location preference, and apply directly to each one that fits.
