How do I get a analytics consultant job in Chicago?
Start by targeting the sectors that dominate Chicago hiring: financial services firms in the Loop, health systems on the Near North Side, and management consulting shops across River North and Fulton Market. Candidates who can demonstrate experience with SQL, Tableau, or Python get more callbacks in Chicago's data-heavy finance and consulting practices. Networking through local analytics and data science meetups also opens doors that online applications alone rarely do.
Which companies hire analytics consultants in Chicago?
Companies currently hiring analytics consultants in Chicago include VIVA, Wipfli, and Epsilon, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Chicago's employer mix leans heavily toward professional services firms, insurance carriers, healthcare systems, and mid-market companies headquartered in the downtown core and nearby suburbs.

How can I get a analytics consultant job in Chicago with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Chicago is landing a junior analyst or data analyst role at a mid-size consulting firm or a large employer like a healthcare system or insurance company, which regularly hire entry-level talent for structured rotational programs.
