Entry Level Anesthesiologist Assistant Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level anesthesiologist assistant job?
Employers hiring at the entry level look for completion of an accredited anesthesiologist assistant program, national certification through the NCCAA, and documented clinical hours from supervised rotations. Candidates who tailor their application to specific practice settings, such as outpatient surgery centers or academic medical centers, and who can demonstrate hands-on competency through their training tend to stand out at this stage.
Which companies hire entry level anesthesiologist assistants?
Companies hiring entry level anesthesiologist assistants right now include NorthStar Anesthesia, Medical University of South Carolina, and Medical College of Wisconsin, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level covers large hospital systems, physician-led anesthesia groups, and ambulatory surgical centers that have the infrastructure to support and supervise new practitioners.
Are there remote entry level anesthesiologist assistant jobs?
Yes, though remote work is limited for a hands-on clinical role. About 0% of entry level anesthesiologist assistant openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those listings typically cover administrative, education support, or telehealth-adjacent functions rather than direct patient care, which requires in-person presence.
Are these new grad anesthesiologist assistant jobs?
Yes, this page includes new grad, recent graduate, and junior anesthesiologist assistant roles alongside other entry level postings. A new-grad-friendly listing typically welcomes zero to two years of post-certification experience, counts supervised clinical rotations from an accredited program, and does not require prior independent practice, making them accessible to candidates coming directly out of training.
Which industries hire the most entry level anesthesiologist assistants?
Entry Level anesthesiologist assistant roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, Education, and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Those sectors drive the most hiring at this level because they operate high volumes of surgical cases and rely on qualified anesthesia providers to maintain patient throughput and safety standards.
