Standard Job Description
Your Impact
We are seeking an Expert to lead technical execution of the planning, development, and integration of advanced manufacturing technologies to resolve technical manufacturing problems as well as guide the development of the next generation of a Manufacturing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) System. This high-level role acts as the technical authority, bridging complex business processes across the value stream. The ideal candidate will transform Aero Operations strategic objectives into business requirements defining the process elements of the product digital thread for manufacturing in collaboration with supply chain management, IT, Quality, E&T, Sustainment and the Digital Transformation Office for coordination with other functions.
What You Will Be Doing
- Leadership: Lead the Operations functional system design, focusing on cross-functional optimization and providing vision to the Aero business for model-based and transitional (non-model) needs. Interact with senior personnel and senior management on significant technical matters, often requiring coordination between functions and other Lockheed Martin business areas.
- Hybrid Integration: Bridge the gap between 2D document-based solutions and 3D Model Based (MBD) solutions, leading data and solution transition initiatives.
- Business Requirements Translation:Collaborate with senior stakeholders to gather, analyze and translate complex business requirements into business system solutions and functional requirements.

Team & Technical Environment
- Integral member of a cross organizational team of experts supporting the implementation of various production operations capabilities using the Siemens Xcelerator, SAP S/4 HANA, and Dassault 3DX tool suites.
- Participate in solutioning, development, documentation, training, and deployment of new Production Operations Business Processes associated with the implementation of the Xcelerator, 3DX tools, and S/4 HANA.
- Mentorship & Governance: Provide guidance and feedback to development teams during capability development and implementation.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearance.
Designs, develops and oversees system architectures, including complex systems and systems design activities. Serves as focal point for the development and communication of the system architecture. Ensures conversion of mission requirements into total systems solutions that account for design and technology maturity constraints of the system. Develops systems and system element architecture, design, and interface definition. Supports internal and external design reviews. Maintains knowledge of current and developing technologies and design and analysis methodologies. Develops models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development.

Full-Time Salary Range: $182500.00 - $338900.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
