Entry Level Asic Verification Engineer Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level asic verification engineer job?
Start by building hands-on experience with SystemVerilog and UVM through coursework, personal projects, or internships, since most entry level postings expect familiarity with constrained-random testbench development. A GitHub portfolio showing simulation results and coverage closure gives hiring managers something concrete to evaluate. Targeting companies with structured new grad programs and applying directly to roles that list zero to two years of experience puts you in the right pool.
Which companies hire entry level asic verification engineers?
Companies hiring entry level asic verification engineers right now include NVIDIA, Qualcomm, and Google, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Hiring at this level covers semiconductor manufacturers, fabless chip design houses, and defense electronics contractors that run formal new grad or associate engineer programs.
Are there remote entry level asic verification engineer jobs?
Yes, though most openings at this level are on-site given the lab access and mentorship involved. About 0% of entry level asic verification engineer openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, so remote options exist but are less common than in software-only roles. Filtering by work setting on Migrate Mate lets you see which postings match your preference.
Are these new grad asic verification engineer jobs?
Yes, the listings here include new grad, recent graduate, and junior asic verification engineer roles. A posting is new grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, counts internships or academic projects toward that threshold, or explicitly invites candidates to submit a portfolio in place of professional history. Look for titles that include associate, junior, or new grad as a reliable signal.
Which industries hire the most entry level asic verification engineers?
Entry Level asic verification engineer roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Electronics & Hardware, and Telecommunications, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Those sectors drive hiring at this level because they sustain active chip development pipelines that depend on growing early-career verification teams to scale test coverage.
