Position Summary
Juniata College, an NCAA Division III Institution, invites applications for a 12-month, full-time Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach. This is a 12-month position that includes a monthly stipend, room, board and full benefits. Juniata is a co-educational, liberal arts college and highly regarded for its academic excellence. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; assisting the Head Men’s Soccer Coach with all operations of the men’s soccer program, including but not limited to; recruiting, athlete and team development, practice planning, academic monitoring, team travel and meet management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading recruiting responsibilities: “Recruiting Coordinator” – communication with PSAs, database management, visit planning, and calendar scheduling.
- Coordinating travel arrangements: meals, lodging, practices.
- Supporting all practice and match preparations.
- Conducting individual workouts and team skill development sessions.
- Contributing to scouting, game-day strategy, and in-game decision making.
- Assisting with summer camps, fundraising, and alumni engagement.
- Participating in departmental functions and committee work as needed.
- Supporting athletic operations and game-day management.
- Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director/Men’s Soccer Coach.

Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- One to Three years of collegiate coaching &/or playing experience preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of NCAA (and Landmark Conference) rules, regulations, and the Division III philosophy.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, recruit, manage, and contribute to a competitive college soccer program.
- Valid driver’s license required, clear of major violations. Juniata College reserves the right to review driving records to determine suitability for position.
