Foxlink is expanding its business by launching a new manufacturing facility in Dallas Texas. This factory will produce SMT (Surface‐Mount Technology) electronic products. We are an essential business supporting a wide range of products in many different industries and developing the newest technology to support communications devices, computers and consumer electronics. Open Roles & Responsibilities
1) Equipment Engineer
- Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance (PPM) plans across the entire SMT production line, including solder paste printers, placement machines, reflow ovens, AOI, SPI, and other related equipment.
- Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to quickly identify and resolve complex equipment failures and minimize production downtime.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), scrap rate, downtime, and cycle time, to improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Train operators and technicians on proper equipment operation, basic troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Create and manage spare parts and tooling inventory to ensure equipment availability and minimize production interruptions.
2) Automation Engineer
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of automation equipment projects, including equipment debugging, validation, and acceptance processes.
- Perform Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews for non-standard automation equipment and follow up on equipment buy-off activities to ensure project requirements are met.
- Support automation equipment installation, troubleshooting, downtime reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.
- Introduce automation solutions to achieve cost reduction and productivity improvement goals, including reducing direct labor requirements on production lines.
- Develop, improve, and standardize procedures for automation project implementation to ensure consistent execution and successful project delivery.
3) Packaging Technnology Engineer
- Evaluate and implement packaging design solutions to meet product requirements, manufacturing needs, and cost objectives.
- Create, build, and validate engineering samples to support product development and packaging design verification.
- Conduct product reliability validation and Failure Analysis/Corrective Action (FACA) activities to identify issues and implement improvements.
- Prepare, maintain, and release system documentation for New Product Introduction (NPI) and Mass Production (MP) phases, including engineering and process documents.
- Develop and manage packaging Bill of Materials (BOM) and Design of Experiments (DOE) plans to optimize packaging performance and manufacturing processes.
4) Electronics Engineer
- Support SMT/PCBA production line electrical and electronic engineering activities, including equipment setup, testing, troubleshooting, and production readiness for new and existing manufacturing processes.
- Perform failure analysis and root cause investigations for electronic assemblies, test fixtures, functional test equipment, and production-related electrical issues to improve product quality and reliability.
- Develop, review, and maintain engineering documentation, including SOPs, test procedures, troubleshooting guides, maintenance records, and equipment validation reports.
- Collaborate with TE, PE, IE, Quality, Manufacturing, and equipment vendors to resolve production issues, improve yield, reduce downtime, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support equipment installation, FAT/SAT, commissioning, calibration, preventive maintenance, and engineering change implementation for New Product Introduction (NPI) and mass production.
4) Industrial Engineer
- Develop and optimize production line layouts, process flows, manpower allocation, and workstation designs to improve manufacturing efficiency and support production ramp-up.
- Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, line balancing, bottleneck analysis, and standard labor-hour calculations for SMT/PCBA and related manufacturing processes.
- Establish and maintain Industrial Engineering (IE) documentation, including standard work instructions, production routing, UPH/UPPH analysis, manpower planning, layout drawings, and continuous improvement reports.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Equipment teams to improve productivity, reduce waste, optimize material flow, and support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
- Support factory layout planning, equipment installation planning, production readiness reviews, process improvement initiatives, and cost reduction projects.
5) Testing Enigneer
- Develop, support, and maintain test processes, test fixtures, functional test equipment, and production test systems for SMT/PCBA manufacturing operations.
- Perform test failure analysis, troubleshooting, root cause investigation, and corrective actions to address product testing issues, equipment failures, and production line abnormalities.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI), test program validation, equipment setup, FAT/SAT, commissioning, calibration, and production ramp-up activities.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, PE, EE, and equipment vendors to improve test yield, reduce false failures, optimize test cycle time, and ensure stable production performance.
- Develop and maintain test engineering documentation, including test procedures, troubleshooting guides, validation reports, maintenance records, and production support SOPs.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, automation, equipment, process improvement, or related industrial environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Ability to read and understand engineering documents, technical drawings, specifications, and process documentation.
- Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI), production ramp-up, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, equipment operation, testing, quality requirements, and production support activities.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, and external vendors.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect data, identify improvement opportunities, and drive solutions.
- Willing to work assigned shifts, including evening or night shifts, as required by business needs.
