ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a Commercial Security Consultant who specializes in growing a new client base within the commercial intrusion, access control, video surveillance & fire alarm verticals. This position requires a strong work ethic, excellent written and verbal skills, an aptitude for technology and the ability to develop industry related partnerships within an assigned territory.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Drive growth by building new customer relationships while maintaining existing ones within an assigned territory
- Communicate with new prospective clients to identify and understand their business and security needs; identify and suggest solutions based on those needs
- Design and present integrated security solutions to prospective and existing client base
- Develop relationships with relevant industry partners
- Identify new clients by researching and creating networking opportunities
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Utilize CRM for sales activity and backlog reporting
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, or relevant field
- A minimum 2 years of outside sales experience required
- Excellent communication, organizational & interpersonal skills
- Excellent sales & negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software
OTHER DUTIES:
- Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy
- Performs other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to travel
