How do I get a business development lead job in Dallas?
The strongest path into a business development lead role in Dallas is building a pipeline-proven record in one of the city's dominant hiring sectors: enterprise software, health tech, or commercial real estate services. Candidates who demonstrate familiarity with Dallas's mid-market and enterprise buyer landscape stand out, as do those with existing relationships in the Platinum Corridor or Uptown business communities where most employers concentrate their revenue teams.
Which companies hire business development leads in Dallas?

Dallas attracts a wide mix of regional headquarters, fast-growing technology firms, and large healthcare and financial services organizations, all of which maintain active business development functions.
Are there remote business development lead jobs in Dallas?
Yes, though remote availability depends heavily on the role, since business development leads often carry relationship-building and in-person client responsibilities that limit full remote options. About 37% of business development lead openings tied to Dallas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, with the most remote-friendly positions concentrated in SaaS and technology companies headquartered in the Platinum Corridor or Las Colinas.
How can I get a business development lead job in Dallas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Dallas is starting in a sales development representative or account executive role at one of the city's many mid-size technology or healthcare services companies, which routinely promote from within. Firms in the Uptown and Frisco corridors are known for structured sales training programs, and candidates who demonstrate strong prospecting skills and local market knowledge often move into lead-level roles within two to three years.
