About the Position
We are an established medical and aesthetic practice seeking a creative, organized, and highly motivated Social Media & Content Marketing Coordinator to take ownership of our day-to-day social media presence and content development.
This is a hands-on, in-office position for someone who enjoys creating content—not simply scheduling posts. The ideal candidate can recognize opportunities throughout the workday, capture high-quality photo and video content, create engaging Reels and short-form videos, develop promotional campaigns, and help communicate our services in a polished and compelling way.
Our practice provides both traditional medical care and elective aesthetic and wellness services. The person in this role will work closely with the physician, practice leadership, staff, and patients to showcase our services, educate our audience, strengthen our brand, and generate interest in the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, film, edit, and publish engaging social media content, including Reels, short-form videos, photos, Stories, educational content, promotional posts, and behind-the-scenes content.
- Manage the practice's social media presence and maintain a consistent posting schedule.
- Develop content for medical, aesthetic, wellness, weight-management, injectable, laser, body-contouring, hormone, and other practice services.
- Identify content opportunities during the normal workday and proactively coordinate filming with the physician and staff.
- Create promotional campaigns for featured services, seasonal offers, new treatments, events, and practice initiatives.
- Write engaging captions and marketing copy consistent with the practice's brand and professional image.
- Create graphics and marketing materials using Canva or similar design platforms.
- Edit short-form video using CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Canva, or similar software.
- Maintain and organize a content calendar.
- Monitor social media engagement, reach, inquiries, and overall content performance.
- Respond appropriately to social media comments and messages and route prospective patient inquiries to the appropriate team member.
- Help generate new patient interest and increase awareness of both medical and elective services.
- Stay current with social media trends, platform changes, content formats, and opportunities relevant to healthcare and aesthetics.
- Assist with website, email, promotional, and other digital marketing initiatives as needed.
- Ensure patient privacy, HIPAA requirements, consent requirements, and practice policies are followed when creating or publishing content.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is creative, proactive, comfortable behind a camera, and capable of taking ownership of content from idea through publication.
The right person does not need to be told every day what to post. They should be able to look at the practice schedule, understand what is happening in the office, identify worthwhile content opportunities, and turn those opportunities into professional, engaging marketing content.
Strong candidates will have:
- Experience creating social media content for a business, brand, or organization.
- Strong short-form video filming and editing skills.
- Experience with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and similar platforms.
- Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe products, or comparable content-creation tools.
- Strong writing, grammar, and communication skills.
- Good visual judgment and attention to detail.
- Confidence working directly with physicians, employees, patients, and leadership.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
- A professional appearance and demeanor appropriate for a medical office.
- A strong understanding of what makes social media content engaging without compromising the professionalism of the practice.
Preferred Experience
Experience in medical aesthetics, plastic surgery, dermatology, med spa, healthcare, beauty, wellness, fitness, or another visually driven consumer business is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of healthcare marketing, HIPAA, patient photo/video consent, before-and-after photography, aesthetic treatments, or medical terminology is a plus.
Portfolio Required
Applicants should be prepared to provide examples of previous work, including social media accounts, Reels, videos, graphics, photography, or other marketing content they personally created.
Please identify which portions of the submitted work you personally filmed, edited, designed, or wrote.
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
Benefits:
- Employee discount
- Paid time off
- Professional development assistance
Experience:
- Marketing: 2 years (Preferred)

Many candidates move into the role after working as content writers, social media coordinators, or digital marketing specialists at Texas companies or agencies.
How much do content marketing managers make in Texas?
Content marketing managers in Texas earn a median of about $147,880 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $81,820 for the lowest 10% to over $259,200 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire content marketing managers in Texas?
