Pennsylvania has no state-issued license or registration required for this role. Employers in Philadelphia's financial services corridor and Pittsburgh's technology sector often prioritize candidates with a portfolio of measurable content outcomes and familiarity with regulated-industry messaging standards.
How much do content marketing managers make in Pennsylvania?
Content marketing managers in Pennsylvania earn a median of about $150,810 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $76,990 for the lowest 10% to over $246,320 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire content marketing managers in Pennsylvania?
Employers hiring content marketing managers in Pennsylvania right now include AnaOno, Clarivate, and PA Museums, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Pennsylvania's mix of large health systems, insurers, universities, and B2B tech firms means steady, year-round demand for content roles with industry-specific subject matter expertise.
Which Pennsylvania cities have the most content marketing manager jobs?
Philadelphia, Exton, and Pittsburgh have the most content marketing manager openings in Pennsylvania. Philadelphia leads because of its dense concentration of healthcare networks, financial services firms, and corporate headquarters, while Pittsburgh's expanded technology and higher education sectors drive demand there, and the Lehigh Valley's growing logistics and manufacturing companies increasingly need content professionals to support B2B marketing.

Large Pennsylvania health systems like Penn Medicine and UPMC, as well as regional universities, regularly hire entry-level marketing coordinators who grow into content strategy roles. Building a portfolio with measurable results, such as traffic growth or lead generation from content you created, is what Pennsylvania employers consistently weigh over years of experience.
