Content Marketing Manager Jobs in Colorado: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a content marketing manager in Colorado?
Content marketing manager is not a licensed or state-regulated profession in Colorado, so there is no Colorado-specific exam or credential required to work in the role. Most hiring managers look for a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field combined with a portfolio of published work. Building experience through agency roles, in-house marketing positions, or contract content work at Colorado's many tech and outdoor brand companies is the most direct path to landing a manager-level role.
How much do content marketing managers make in Colorado?
Content marketing managers in Colorado earn a median of about $182,730 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $121,560 for the lowest 10% to over $289,870 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire content marketing managers in Colorado?
Companies currently hiring content marketing managers in Colorado include Fyin, Inspire Communities, and Kodiak Interiors, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Colorado's strong concentration of technology companies, direct-to-consumer outdoor and lifestyle brands, and large healthcare systems makes it one of the more active states for content marketing hiring year-round.
Which Colorado cities have the most content marketing manager jobs?
Denver, Parker, and Englewood have the most content marketing manager openings in Colorado. Denver drives the largest share due to its dense concentration of corporate headquarters, technology firms, and agency offices, while Boulder's outdoor, wellness, and software industries anchor consistent demand there, and Colorado Springs supports hiring through its substantial defense contracting and healthcare employer base.
Are there remote content marketing manager jobs in Colorado?
Yes, and more than most fields. Content marketing is primarily a desk and digital role, making it well suited to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 0% of content marketing manager openings tied to Colorado are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how broadly this role has shifted away from required in-office presence. Strategy, editorial planning, and SEO work are the most consistently remote-friendly functions within the role.
How can I get hired as a content marketing manager in Colorado with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a junior content writer or marketing coordinator role at a Colorado agency or mid-size technology company, then building toward a manager title. Companies such as those headquartered in Denver's River North and tech corridor neighborhoods regularly hire entry-level content specialists who grow into management. A portfolio of published work, even from freelance or internship projects, carries more weight than tenure in this field, and earning a HubSpot Content Marketing certification adds a concrete credential that Colorado hiring managers recognize.
Where can I find and apply to content marketing manager jobs in Colorado?
You can find and apply to content marketing manager jobs in Colorado on Migrate Mate, which lists current Colorado openings. Search the roles that fit your experience level and specialty, then apply directly to the ones that match. The listings are updated regularly so you can check back as new positions open across Denver, Boulder, Colorado Springs, and beyond.
