Content Marketing Manager Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a content marketing manager in Florida?
A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or journalism is the standard starting point for content marketing manager roles in Florida. No state-issued license is required for this role. Florida employers typically expect a portfolio of content work, demonstrated SEO knowledge, and some team leadership experience. Many candidates move into the role from adjacent positions such as content writer, social media coordinator, or marketing specialist at Florida companies across healthcare, tech, and hospitality sectors.
How much do content marketing managers make in Florida?
Content marketing managers in Florida earn a median of about $142,620 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $78,250 for the lowest 10% to over $261,310 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire content marketing managers in Florida?
Employers hiring content marketing managers in Florida right now include GrantWatch, DHL, and Ripple, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Florida's concentration of healthcare systems, financial services firms, and tourism brands means demand for content marketing managers is spread across multiple high-volume industries throughout the state.
Which Florida cities have the most content marketing manager jobs?
Miami, Boynton Beach, and Ocala have the most content marketing manager openings in Florida. Miami leads because of its density of financial services, tech startups, and international brand headquarters, while Orlando's tourism, hospitality, and growing tech corridor drive strong demand, and Tampa's fintech, healthcare, and media companies anchor consistent hiring in the Bay Area.
Are there remote content marketing manager jobs in Florida?
Yes, and more than most fields. Content marketing is inherently desk-based and output-driven, making it well suited to remote arrangements. About 38% of content marketing manager openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how broadly employers have adopted flexible work for this role. Strategy, editorial, and SEO functions are the most commonly offered as fully remote positions.
How can I get hired as a content marketing manager in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is landing a content writer or marketing coordinator role at a Florida employer and building toward management from there. Large Florida healthcare systems like AdventHealth and HCA Florida, as well as regional fintech and SaaS companies in Tampa and Miami, regularly hire entry-level marketing associates who grow into content manager roles. A portfolio showing published work, even from freelance or internship projects, combined with a Google Analytics or HubSpot certification, gives candidates a clear edge over those without credentials.
