Sales Consultant Jobs in Colorado: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a sales consultant in Colorado?
Most sales consultant roles in Colorado require no state-issued license, though insurance or real estate sales consultants must hold a Colorado Division of Insurance or Division of Real Estate license respectively. Employers typically look for a high school diploma at minimum, with a bachelor's degree in business or marketing preferred for corporate roles. Building product knowledge and completing employer onboarding and sales training is the standard path into the role.
Which companies hire sales consultants in Colorado?
Colorado sales consultant roles are posted by Comcast, EF (Education First), and AT&T and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. Colorado's concentration of telecom, financial services, and technology firms means steady demand across both large corporate employers and regional specialty companies.
Which Colorado cities have the most sales consultant jobs?
Denver, Colorado Springs, and Aurora are the cities with the most sales consultant openings in Colorado. Denver drives the largest share of postings given its headquarters density in telecom, financial services, and enterprise software, while Colorado Springs and Boulder contribute openings tied to defense contractors, health tech firms, and outdoor and retail brands headquartered along the Front Range.
Are there remote sales consultant jobs in Colorado?
Yes, and more than some fields, particularly for inside sales and account management roles focused on phone and digital outreach. About 27% of sales consultant openings tied to Colorado are remote or hybrid as of November 2026, reflecting how much of the role involves virtual client engagement. Territory-based and in-home sales positions remain on-site by nature, while software and financial services roles are the most likely to offer remote flexibility.
How can I get hired as a sales consultant in Colorado with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is an inside sales representative or sales development representative role, which large Colorado employers like Comcast, Dish Network, and local financial services firms hire for with minimal experience. Retail and home services companies also offer structured new-hire training programs. A Colorado community college sales certificate or demonstrated customer service experience in a named adjacent role like call center agent or retail associate strengthens an application considerably.
Where can I find and apply to sales consultant jobs in Colorado?
You can find and apply to sales consultant jobs in Colorado on Migrate Mate, which lists current Colorado openings updated regularly. Search the listings, find roles that fit your experience and preferred location, and apply directly to the employers posting them.
