Regional Sales Manager Jobs in Colorado: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a regional sales manager in Colorado?
The most common path is earning a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline, then building several years of quota-carrying sales experience before moving into a leadership role. Colorado does not require a state-issued license to work as a regional sales manager in most industries, though roles in financial products, real estate brokerage, or insurance distribution carry their own Colorado Division of Insurance or DORA licensing requirements. Employers across Denver and Colorado Springs typically promote high-performing individual contributors or recruit candidates with demonstrated team-management experience from adjacent industries.
How much do regional sales managers make in Colorado?
Regional sales managers in Colorado earn a median of about $180,850 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $105,270 for the lowest 10% to over $316,830 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire regional sales managers in Colorado?
Companies currently hiring regional sales managers in Colorado include NOV, Zimmer Biomet, and CNH Industrial, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Colorado's concentration of technology, aerospace, and healthcare employers means regional sales roles here frequently cover the broader Mountain West territory rather than Colorado alone.
Which Colorado cities have the most regional sales manager jobs?
Denver, Colorado, and Colorado Springs account for the largest share of regional sales manager openings in Colorado. Denver drives the majority of postings as the state's commercial and corporate hub, while Colorado Springs benefits from a strong defense and healthcare employer base, and Boulder attracts technology and life-sciences companies that staff regional roles out of their Front Range offices.
Are there remote regional sales manager jobs in Colorado?
Yes, but they're rare, because regional sales managers typically need to visit clients, lead field teams in person, and travel their territory regularly. About 81% of regional sales manager openings tied to Colorado are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how hands-on the role is by nature. The portions most likely to be done remotely are pipeline reviews, team coaching calls, and CRM reporting rather than client-facing or field-leadership activities.
How can I get hired as a regional sales manager in Colorado with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is landing a quota-carrying individual-contributor role first, then moving into management once you have a strong performance record. Large Colorado employers like Arrow Electronics and DaVita run structured sales development and associate account manager programs that build toward team-lead opportunities. Lateral moves from inside sales, account management, or sales operations roles are common stepping stones. Earning a Salesforce certification or completing a front-line sales leadership course through a Denver-area business school program can also signal readiness to Colorado hiring managers who want candidates who understand the metrics before they manage them.
Where can I find and apply to regional sales manager jobs in Colorado?
You can find and apply to regional sales manager jobs in Colorado on Migrate Mate, which lists current Colorado openings across industries and experience levels. Find roles that fit your background and apply directly to each one without any additional steps.
