Territory Account Manager Jobs in Colorado: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a territory account manager in Colorado?
Most territory account manager roles in Colorado require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a field related to the industry you're selling into. Colorado does not issue a state license specific to this role, so employers focus on sales experience, product knowledge, and industry fit. Many candidates enter through inside sales or business development rep positions at Colorado-based companies and move into territory roles after building a consistent performance record.
How much do territory account managers make in Colorado?
Territory account managers in Colorado earn a median of about $79,250 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $47,620 for the lowest 10% to over $149,890 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire territory account managers in Colorado?
Employers hiring territory account managers in Colorado right now include Toast, サイネオス・ヘルス, and Syneos Health Commercial Solutions, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Colorado's concentration of technology, healthcare, and industrial distribution companies means consistent demand across both Denver metro and the Front Range corridor.
Which Colorado cities have the most territory account manager jobs?
Denver, Fort Collins, and Greeley have the most territory account manager openings in Colorado. Denver drives the largest share because of its dense cluster of corporate headquarters and regional offices in technology, healthcare, and energy, while Colorado Springs benefits from its defense and aerospace contractors, and Boulder attracts openings tied to its high concentration of software and life sciences companies.
Are there remote territory account manager jobs in Colorado?
Yes, but they're limited, because territory account manager work is built around in-person client visits, site calls, and relationship management within a defined geographic area. About 83% of territory account manager openings tied to Colorado are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, and those tend to be in SaaS or cloud-based products where client meetings happen via video rather than on-site.
How can I get hired as a territory account manager in Colorado with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is an inside sales or business development representative role at a Colorado company, where you build pipeline skills and product knowledge before moving to a field territory. Companies like Arrow Electronics and Trimble, both headquartered in the Denver metro, regularly hire entry-level sales associates who can transition into territory roles. Earning a relevant industry certification, such as a HIPAA or medical device sales credential for healthcare roles, helps candidates stand out without prior territory experience.
Where can I find and apply to territory account manager jobs in Colorado?
You can find and apply to territory account manager jobs in Colorado on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across the state. Search the listings to find roles that match your industry background and territory preferences, then apply directly to the ones that fit your experience.
