Performance Marketing Analyst Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a performance marketing analyst in Texas?
A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, statistics, or a related field is the standard entry point for performance marketing analyst roles in Texas. No state-issued license is required. Texas employers, particularly those in Austin's tech corridor and Dallas's corporate hub, typically want candidates who can show platform certifications such as Google Ads or Meta Blueprint credentials alongside a portfolio demonstrating real campaign results.
How much do performance marketing analysts make in Texas?
Performance marketing analysts in Texas earn a median of about $72,520 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $37,640 for the lowest 10% to over $135,710 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire performance marketing analysts in Texas?
Employers hiring performance marketing analysts in Texas right now include Apex Service Partners, Citi, and Dal-Tile, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Texas's large retail, financial services, and technology sectors mean demand is distributed across both corporate headquarters and regional marketing teams throughout the state.
Which Texas cities have the most performance marketing analyst jobs?
Austin, Irving, and San Antonio have the most performance marketing analyst openings in Texas. Austin's concentration of technology and SaaS companies drives strong demand there, while Dallas attracts listings from major corporate headquarters in retail, financial services, and telecommunications, and Houston's energy and healthcare sectors contribute a steady share of openings.
Are there remote performance marketing analyst jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than most fields. Performance marketing analysis is inherently desk-based and data-driven, making it well suited to remote arrangements. About 9% of performance marketing analyst openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting how broadly Texas employers have adopted flexible work for analytical marketing roles. Campaign management and reporting tasks are the functions most commonly performed fully remote.
How can I get hired as a performance marketing analyst in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is an associate or coordinator role in digital marketing or paid media at a Texas retailer, regional agency, or technology company, then building toward analyst responsibilities. Employers like H-E-B, Dell, and mid-size Austin agencies regularly bring on entry-level marketing associates who rotate through paid channels. A Google Ads certification or Meta Blueprint credential combined with a portfolio of even freelance or capstone campaign results gives candidates a measurable edge over other applicants without formal experience.
