How do you become a performance marketing analyst in Massachusetts?
A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, statistics, or a related field is the standard starting point for performance marketing analyst roles in Massachusetts. No state-issued license is required for this role. Massachusetts employers, particularly in Boston's fintech and edtech sectors, place strong weight on platform certifications such as Google Ads and Meta Blueprint, along with a portfolio of campaign results that demonstrates measurable impact.
How much do performance marketing analysts make in Massachusetts?
Performance marketing analysts in Massachusetts earn a median of about $101,810 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $58,090 for the lowest 10% to over $166,970 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire performance marketing analysts in Massachusetts?
Employers hiring performance marketing analysts in Massachusetts right now include Whoop, SharkNinja, and Bevi, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Massachusetts's concentration of e-commerce, financial services, and technology firms means demand stays consistent throughout the year across the Greater Boston area and Route 128 corridor.
Which Massachusetts cities have the most performance marketing analyst jobs?
Boston, Needham, and Cambridge have the most performance marketing analyst openings in Massachusetts. Boston anchors the majority of listings given its dense concentration of technology, financial services, and consumer brands, while Cambridge draws roles tied to research-driven and edtech companies, and Waltham benefits from the established tech and healthcare marketing firms clustered along the Route 128 corridor.
Are there remote performance marketing analyst jobs in Massachusetts?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 71% of performance marketing analyst openings tied to Massachusetts are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the desk-based and data-driven nature of the work. Roles focused on paid search management, reporting, and campaign analytics are the most likely to offer full remote or hybrid flexibility.
How can I get hired as a performance marketing analyst in Massachusetts with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a marketing coordinator or digital marketing associate role at a Boston-area agency or technology company, where hands-on platform work builds the foundation employers expect.
