Are you a commercially minded marketer who thrives on building from the ground up?
Austco Healthcare is seeking their first Global Marketing Manager to establish, lead, and execute our worldwide marketing function from our US headquarters in Irving, Texas.
This role will be based onsite in the Irving office.
This is a rare opportunity to join a growing, publicly listed healthcare technology business with customers across North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East, and create a global marketing capability from scratch.
You'll have executive visibility, genuine ownership, and the opportunity to shape how Austco is positioned around the world. But make no mistake, this is not a role for someone who wants to inherit a large team and established marketing machine. Initially, you will be the marketing function. You'll be responsible for developing strategy, creating content, managing campaigns, analysing performance, working with agencies, supporting sales, and building the foundations for future growth.
We're looking for a marketer who is equally comfortable discussing global brand positioning with executives in the morning and launching a campaign, writing content, or analysing lead performance in the afternoon.
If building, owning, and scaling a global marketing function excites you, we'd love to hear from you.
What this role is really about
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, technology, and commercial growth.
As Austco continues to expand internationally, we're looking for someone who can elevate our global brand, create demand across multiple markets, strengthen our market positioning, and build a marketing engine that directly supports sales performance.
Success in this role requires more than marketing expertise. You'll need the technical curiosity and commercial acumen to understand our healthcare communication and workflow solutions, translate complex technology into compelling customer value propositions, and communicate effectively with both clinical and technical stakeholders.
You'll work closely with sales leaders, product teams, and executives across multiple countries to ensure marketing becomes a genuine driver of business growth.
Most importantly, you'll take ownership. You'll identify opportunities, build plans, execute them, measure results, and continuously improve.
This isn't a role where you'll wait for direction.
You'll create it.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a global marketing strategy aligned with Austco's growth objectives
Build Austco's global brand presence and ensure consistent positioning across international markets
Partner closely with sales teams to generate demand, support pipeline growth, and improve customer engagement
Develop compelling messaging and content that clearly communicates the value of Austco's solutions
Lead digital marketing, content creation, events, PR, product marketing, and campaign execution
Analyse market trends, customer needs, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities
Manage marketing budgets and measure ROI across all marketing initiatives
Establish marketing processes, systems, reporting, and performance metrics
Manage external agencies, vendors, and strategic marketing partners
Build the foundations of a scalable global marketing function that can grow alongside the business
Who will succeed here
You're an experienced B2B marketing leader who enjoys creating structure where none exists.
You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and understand that when building a function, no task is beneath you. You can create the plan, execute the plan, and measure the outcome.
You'll likely bring experience from a global technology, healthcare technology, medical device, SaaS, industrial technology, or other complex B2B environment where understanding technical products and translating them into commercial value is critical.
You'll ideally bring:
Proven experience building or significantly transforming a marketing function
Experience supporting global or multi-region markets
A strong track record of partnering closely with sales teams to drive measurable business growth
The ability to understand complex technical products and communicate their value effectively
Experience balancing brand-building initiatives with lead generation and revenue-focused activities
Strong commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making capabilities
The confidence to influence senior stakeholders across multiple regions
An entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to roll up your sleeves
Healthcare experience would be advantageous, but it is not essential. However, we are equally interested in people who have succeeded in another technical, regulated or mission-critical environment and can bring those skills into healthcare.
What's more important is your ability to understand complex technology, learn quickly, and build marketing programs that deliver results.
What we offer
Salary 180-220k

Company Wellness & Dependent Summer Camp Reimbursement Programs

Final word
This role won't suit everyone.
If you're looking to step into a large marketing team with well-established processes and specialist support functions already in place, this probably isn't the right opportunity.
However, if you're excited by the prospect of building a global marketing function from the ground up, working directly with senior leaders, partnering closely with sales, and shaping the future of a growing healthcare technology business with a global footprint, this could be a career-defining opportunity.
Join Austco and help build the global marketing engine behind an industry-leading healthcare technology company.

Global Marketing Manager Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a global marketing manager in Texas?
The most direct path is a bachelor's degree in marketing, international business, or communications followed by progressively senior marketing roles with cross-regional exposure. Texas does not require a state-issued license for this role. Employers in Dallas, Houston, and Austin typically look for candidates who have managed campaigns across multiple countries or business units, with hands-on experience in B2B or consumer marketing and, increasingly, demonstrated fluency in Spanish for roles tied to Latin American markets.
How much do global marketing managers make in Texas?
Global marketing managers in Texas earn a median of about $147,880 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $81,820 for the lowest 10% to over $259,200 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire global marketing managers in Texas?
Employers hiring global marketing managers in Texas right now include Abbott, Amazon Web Services, and HP, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Texas's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and major technology and energy companies means openings appear consistently throughout the year rather than in seasonal bursts.
Which Texas cities have the most global marketing manager jobs?
Austin, Dallas, and Irving account for the largest share of global marketing manager openings in Texas. Dallas draws heavily from its dense cluster of corporate headquarters and professional services firms, Houston from energy majors and healthcare systems with international operations, and Austin from its growing technology and consumer brand sector that frequently targets global and Latin American audiences.
Are there remote global marketing manager jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 100% of global marketing manager openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how well strategy, campaign management, and cross-regional coordination translate to distributed work. The parts of the role most likely to stay remote are brand strategy, content planning, and performance reporting, while product launches and regional events often require some in-person presence.
How can I get hired as a global marketing manager in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a marketing coordinator or specialist role at a Texas company with international operations, then building toward global scope. Large Texas employers like Dell Technologies, American Airlines, and ExxonMobil run formal rotational or associate marketing programs where new graduates gain cross-functional exposure. A portfolio demonstrating multilingual content, international campaign work, or Latin American market research accelerates progression, and a master's degree in international business from a Texas institution such as UT Austin or SMU adds a competitive credential.
Where can I find and apply to global marketing manager jobs in Texas?
You can find and apply to global marketing manager jobs in Texas on Migrate Mate, which lists current Texas openings across all major metros and industries. Search the listings, find roles that fit your background and target market, and apply directly to each employer through the posting.
