Sales Operations Analyst Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a sales operations analyst in Texas?
Most employers in Texas expect a bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or a related field as the foundation for this role. There is no state-issued license required to work as a sales operations analyst in Texas. Candidates strengthen their profile by earning vendor certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or a data analytics credential, then building hands-on experience through internships, sales support roles, or revenue operations associate positions at Texas-based companies.
Which companies hire sales operations analysts in Texas?
Employers hiring sales operations analysts in Texas right now include HP, Lennox, and Alcon, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Texas's large technology corridor in Austin and the concentration of energy and telecom headquarters in Houston and Dallas means demand stays consistent across multiple industries throughout the year.
Which Texas cities have the most sales operations analyst jobs?
Austin, Dallas, and Houston account for the most sales operations analyst openings in Texas. Dallas leads because of its dense concentration of corporate headquarters and enterprise technology firms, Houston's energy and petrochemical sector drives steady demand, and Austin's fast-growing technology and SaaS company base makes it a strong market for analysts focused on CRM and revenue operations.
Are there remote sales operations analyst jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 33% of sales operations analyst openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting how naturally the work translates to digital tools and distributed teams. The tasks most commonly performed remotely are reporting, CRM administration, and pipeline analysis, while cross-functional alignment meetings sometimes require periodic on-site attendance at Dallas, Houston, or Austin offices.
How can I get hired as a sales operations analyst in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a sales coordinator or sales support associate role at a mid-size Texas company, which builds the reporting and CRM exposure hiring managers look for. Large Texas employers like Dell Technologies and AT&T regularly post rotational business analyst and operations associate programs that welcome recent graduates. Earning a Salesforce Administrator certification before applying gives candidates a concrete, verifiable edge over other entry-level applicants competing for the same openings.
