A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field is the standard starting point for sales operations analyst roles in North Carolina. No state-issued license is required for this role. Employers in the Research Triangle and Charlotte markets typically look for CRM experience, analytical coursework, and familiarity with sales processes, which candidates often build through internships or adjacent business roles before moving into a dedicated analyst position.
Which companies hire sales operations analysts in North Carolina?
Employers hiring sales operations analysts in North Carolina right now include Xylem, Labcorp, and BAE Systems USA, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Which North Carolina cities have the most sales operations analyst jobs?

Charlotte's dominance as a financial services center drives demand there, while Raleigh and Durham benefit from the Research Triangle's dense cluster of technology, software, and life sciences employers that rely heavily on sales operations support.

Yes, and more than most fields, since sales operations is fundamentally analytical and desk-based work that translates well to remote environments. About 75% of sales operations analyst openings tied to North Carolina are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how broadly distributed the role has become since companies shifted to cloud-based CRM and data tools. Forecasting, reporting, and CRM administration tasks are the functions most commonly performed fully remotely.
How can I get hired as a sales operations analyst in North Carolina with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving laterally from a sales coordinator, business analyst, or inside sales role into an operations-focused position, since North Carolina employers such as those in the Research Triangle tech corridor frequently promote from within those adjacent functions. Building a Salesforce Administrator certification through the Trailhead program signals CRM competency that many hiring managers treat as a substitute for direct experience.
