Sales Operations Analyst Jobs in New York: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a sales operations analyst in New York?
Most sales operations analyst roles in New York require a bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field. The role carries no state-issued license or exam requirement, so the path focuses on building analytical and CRM skills alongside relevant experience. New York employers consistently prioritize candidates with Salesforce credentials, demonstrated data skills, and exposure to high-volume sales environments, particularly in the financial services or technology sectors that dominate the city's job market.
Which companies hire sales operations analysts in New York?
Employers hiring sales operations analysts in New York right now include Justworks, Albertsons, and Albertsons Companies, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. New York's dense concentration of financial services headquarters, global technology offices, and media companies means openings appear consistently across a wide range of industries and company sizes.
Which New York cities have the most sales operations analyst jobs?
New York, Albany, and Harrison have the most sales operations analyst openings in New York. New York City accounts for the large majority of postings, driven by its concentration of financial institutions, tech firms, and corporate headquarters, while Buffalo and Albany generate openings through regional offices and state government contractors that maintain dedicated sales and revenue operations functions.
Are there remote sales operations analyst jobs in New York?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 46% of sales operations analyst openings tied to New York are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting the desk-based and data-driven nature of the work. Responsibilities like CRM administration, reporting, and forecasting translate well to remote settings, while roles that involve close daily collaboration with field sales teams tend to require at least a hybrid presence in New York City.
How can I get hired as a sales operations analyst in New York with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into sales operations from an adjacent analytical or sales support role such as sales coordinator, business analyst, or revenue operations associate. Large New York employers in financial services and technology often hire associate-level analysts for reporting and CRM support work that builds the core skill set. Earning a Salesforce Administrator certification strengthens a candidacy considerably, and candidates who can demonstrate Excel or Tableau proficiency through a portfolio project stand out among applicants without direct experience.
Where can I find and apply to sales operations analyst jobs in New York?
You can find and apply to sales operations analyst jobs in New York on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings in the state. Search the available roles, find the ones that fit your background and location, and apply directly to each one.
