Brand Manager Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a brand manager in Texas?
Brand manager roles in Texas require no state-issued license or registration, so the path runs through education and experience. Most employers expect a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business. From there, candidates typically move through coordinator or associate brand manager roles at consumer goods companies, retailers, or technology firms based in Texas before stepping into a full brand manager position.
How much do brand managers make in Texas?
Brand managers in Texas earn a median of about $147,880 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $81,820 for the lowest 10% to over $259,200 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire brand managers in Texas?
Employers hiring brand managers in Texas right now include Lane Bryant Brands Opco, Community Choice Financial Family of Brands, and Ingersoll-Rand, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Texas's concentration of retail headquarters, energy companies, and large technology employers means brand manager demand stays consistent across industries rather than clustering in a single sector.
Which Texas cities have the most brand manager jobs?
Grand Prairie, Dallas, and Austin have the most brand manager openings in Texas. Dallas-Fort Worth leads because it is home to the headquarters of major retailers, financial services firms, and telecommunications companies that maintain large in-house marketing teams, while Austin's technology sector and Houston's energy and healthcare industries sustain steady demand across the other metros.
Are there remote brand manager jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 10% of brand manager openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting how much of the work involves strategy, content development, and campaign oversight that does not require a fixed on-site presence. Campaign planning and agency coordination roles are the most likely to stay fully remote.
How can I get hired as a brand manager in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a marketing coordinator or assistant brand manager role at a Texas consumer goods company, retailer, or agency. H-E-B, AT&T, and Dell Technologies all run structured marketing rotational or development programs that accept new graduates. Building a portfolio of real campaign work, whether from internships, freelance projects, or student organizations, gives candidates a concrete edge over those relying on coursework alone.
Where can I find and apply to brand manager jobs in Texas?
You can find and apply to brand manager jobs in Texas on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from employers hiring in the state right now. Find the roles that fit your background and apply directly through each listing.
