Brand Manager Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a brand manager in Georgia?
Most brand manager roles in Georgia require a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or communications, with an MBA providing an advantage for senior positions. Georgia does not issue a state license for brand managers, so the hiring path centers on building relevant experience through marketing coordinator or analyst roles, ideally at one of Atlanta's major consumer or retail brands. A portfolio of measurable brand campaigns and proficiency with digital analytics tools strengthens any application significantly.
How much do brand managers make in Georgia?
Brand managers in Georgia earn a median of about $160,760 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $94,390 for the lowest 10% to over $277,180 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire brand managers in Georgia?
Employers hiring brand managers in Georgia right now include Inspire Brands, Aflac, and HD Supply, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Georgia's deep concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and regional consumer brands in the Atlanta metro makes it one of the more active hiring markets for brand professionals in the South.
Which Georgia cities have the most brand manager jobs?
Atlanta, Columbus, and Perry have the highest concentration of brand manager openings in Georgia. Atlanta drives the bulk of demand as the headquarters city for major consumer, retail, and financial services brands, while smaller markets like Savannah and Augusta reflect regional employers in manufacturing, healthcare, and hospitality who maintain dedicated marketing functions.
Are there remote brand manager jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than many marketing roles because brand strategy and campaign management translate well to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 67% of brand manager openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting broader trends in corporate marketing functions. Creative direction, campaign planning, and brand analytics work are the segments most likely to be offered on a flexible or fully remote basis.
How can I get hired as a brand manager in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point is a marketing coordinator or brand coordinator role at one of Atlanta's large consumer goods, retail, or financial services companies, where you can build hands-on campaign experience before moving into a manager title. Coca-Cola, Home Depot, and UPS are among the Georgia employers that run structured rotational or associate marketing programs suited to recent graduates. A Georgia university marketing degree, a digital marketing certification, and a portfolio of even small-scale projects give candidates a measurable edge when applying to these programs.
